Default 20th Annual Magic City Classic coming up!!

I just wanted to remind everybody that the 20th Annual Magic City Classic is coming up in just 4 short weeks. Hopefully everybody has marked the weekend of March 11-13 off on their calendar.

Everything is coming together to make this a great event. T-shirt design is being finalized, prizes are already arriving, etc. This year we're even getting a lift platform fabricated so we can use the Shrine's forklift to get our chair-bound racing friends up onto the stage safely.

PLEASE NOTE: We need your paid first entry in-hand no later than February 27 to have your T-shirt size guaranteed. We have to turn in the order on March 1 to ensure they can be produced in time for the event. Please be sure note your T-shirt size on the entry form. You only need to commit to your first class (the one the T-shirt comes as part of the entry fee) and you can enter / pay for additional class(es) when you arrive. We will, of course, order additional T-shirts but you will DEFINITELY be on a catch as catch can basis if we don't have your pre-entry.

Entry form can be downloaded in .pdf form at http://www.magiccityrc.com/flyers/Fl...ty_Classic.pdf PLEASE be sure you mail your entry to the address shown at the bottom of the flyer as "Mail to", NOT to the actual Shrine itself.

Anywho, hope to see you at the Classic!! Talk to Grenade, Rich, Steve, Jim, Doug, etc and I'm pretty sure they'll vouch that our races are a good time. Big track, VERY even floor, huge drivers stand, as much pit space (tables and chairs provided) as you think you can fill, professional on-site concessions, etc. And how often to you get to race when it DIRECTLY benefits a charitable organization? The Shrine Charities benefit from our rental and operating the concessions stand...helping get children and families the medical help they need but cannot afford.

Thanks,

Scottrik

I should also mention that there are a limited number of RV power hook-ups for anyone who would like to bring a motorhome, camper or trailer. There are four 30-amp services and a single 50-amp service. The 50-amp is tentatively spoken for, but the others are available. We will reserve the hook-ups with paid entries that request a hook up (just write it in the margin on the entry form). Please note that these are not water or sewer hook-ups, just power.

Prizes continue to roll in, and we're building a couple new "challenges" for the track. Trophies are scheduled for production. Should be a 20th Anniversary bash to remember!!

Just a lil' reminder, all, for those who plan to attend the 20th Annual Magic City Carpet Classic here in Billings. The race is coming up FAST, in fact it's only two weeks from this coming weekend. I was just over at the printing place finalizing elements of the design and am happy to say the shirts will look GREAT!! Just like last year, lots of colors, printed front and back, etc.

If you're planning to attend please remember that we need your pre-paid entry in-hand by next Monday to be guaranteed that your preferred size T-Shirt is ordered/held for you. No need to pick or pay for additional classes until you get here. You can take your chances with "catch-as-catch can" as far as what sizes are available without pre-payment, but why not get your size guaranteed.

Flyer and entry form at http://www.magiccityrc.com/flyers/Fl...ty_Classic.pdf

Please be sure to jot your T-shirt size somewhere on the entry form. Also indicate if you'd like any additional T's and what size(s) those should be. One T-shirt is free with your first entry, additional shirts will be $12 each.

Looking forward to seeing ya'll!!
