Hell to the yes I run nitro! I also have an 18R that is set up very nicely. I'll bring both when we practice...I will probably get a 1/10 electric soon though...winter's a commin'!

Speaking of practice...we should meet at least once prior to the event. I've never had the chance to drift with another racer before. We should practice some tandem...

mr4tcsdrifter 08-24-2008 08:17 PM

how about sat 6th in the morning

str8.krooked 08-25-2008 11:29 AM

I can make that work...does anyone know of a nice clear tennis court or something? Actually, my nitro spits a lot (runs rich) and might make tennis players mad. Maybe just a nice new parkinglot...

mr4tcsdrifter 08-25-2008 12:36 PM

i'll have to ask drewbal and see if he know any thing down by him.

drewbal 08-25-2008 08:58 PM

Hey guy's maybe when you go to Bandimere you could bring some HobbyTown Fall Classic Flyers as well as some CORRC flyers. Should be some good exposure for our Hobby:cool:

str8.krooked 08-26-2008 07:25 AM

I know of a couple pretty good parking lots, but nothing legit. I've never been harrassed though. In fact, most people are excited to watch.

mr4tcsdrifter 08-26-2008 10:55 AM

well, find a definite spot..and lets do it

str8.krooked 08-26-2008 12:14 PM

If you leave it up to me...

9265 S Broadway Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

It's a newly paved parking lot. It sits slightly angled, but the ground is nice and smooth. I'll bring a broom too so we can sweep a track. If you don't like it we can go to a couple other spots within a couple of blocks from here.

9:am??

This is a Safeway complex, and I usually run out in front of Bacchus Wine & Spirits. It's a little liquor store.
