Alright... that was pretty good.
Remember, update the username on LiveRC to "5280 Raceway" but don't change the password. I'm ready to watch some racing tonight!

That carpet seam entering the sweeper is getting real bad... not only is it starting to roll over and is separated almost 1/2 inch in some places, but there is a small tear forming in the middle of the track. I know a few people were hunting for info on better tape to use, we get any answers on that? I'll help if we want to try and fix that seam before racing on Thursday.

I may be wrong .. but I don't believe that was an offer made to the club. It may have been for some of the left-overs from IIC, like the Jaco Blues we got.

He offered our club ongoing foam and rubber tires as pretty good pricing, although I'm not recalling the exact numbers. The stipulation, at least for the rubber tires, was that we make them our spec club tire and if we start mixing in other tires for club races then the deal goes byebye. However, I don't recall him saying that for the foamies. I believe Ryan is the POC for the deal specifics.

After that discussion a few of us mentioned WGT and 1/12th tires, and he said if the club standardized on a tire mfg for WGT and 1/12th (for stuff the club "sells") they would set the club up with a discounted price for both. Exactly like they do with the Jaco Blues.

I worked with Brent over the phone to get things sorted out with LiveRC. We're up and running. Practice is live right now, in fact!

Nothing else to do when you're watching a baby crawl around all night.

Traction was a bit odd last night especially for spraying the track with SXT.
Anyone interested in revisiting the idea of somehow making or buying an humidifier for the track?

for the first night on the layout i did not thing traction was that bad. my wgt car was a little weird, but there is obviously something wrong with it, it would only turn right.
