Looks like traction was awesome last night. Hopefully we can break some more records this Sunday.

Will Oval race be held tonight? I'll be down to practice Sat and want to know if the track needs setup.

Traction was odd yesterday. I both traction rolled and spun out (a lot) at the end of the straight. It didn't seem all that high to be honest, but the track was definitely fast.

For rubber tires, at least, the change of carpet really does seem to have helped. Used tires come off really dirty the first run, a little dirty the second run, and then clean after that. It might take one more run to get a new set clean. I clean full fronts (with sauce) the first two runs and then only half after that.

It seems like fuzz is still plaguing WGT somewhat, but I think that's residual and not new stuff. The track is gonna be GOOOOOOOD at CCC. I'm so pumped!

Have fun on Sunday. Ryan broke the record for fast lap in the main, and I nabbed the overall record. Let's see if you guys can make a dent in the white board!

you have to remember what tires we have to run in wgt. that family of rubber is not that great on carpet. how long has it been since you have seen that tire run in 1/12.

look at he fall off from nats, hot lap to last lap, and you will see that wgt will fall off the most. nature of the beast.

i am looking forward to running on the "new" carpet, as i have only practiced on it. i hope that it proves to be the right decision, but it sounds like it couldn't have hurt.

have fun. we also need to start thinking about getting the track ready for the ccc. there is alot of cleaning that needs to be done. and we need everyone that walks thru the doors to help. this includes cleaning the bathrooms, sweeping the floor, and makeing the place look great. lets not forget that this may be out last ccc in the current space, so lets make sure we make it as good as we can.

I'm down. Should we have a board cleaning party, too? I might see if I can get some felt for cheap. Some bright orange stuff might look cool.

We should make next Saturday a clean the track day. Any thoguhts? If we get 5-6 people to show we can have the track cleaned up if a few hours. We need to pick a layout and setup it up on the 9th as well.

Green seems like it's more expensive. I'll look around. I can get like 3' x 72" for $5 in Orange.
