Exciting night at the track, carpet vacuumed, pits vacuumed and pulled out by Lakewood PD Swat team. Supposably there was a man shot with a 12ga shot gun at the track. Good thing Dick and I did not have our guns with us. Another Good thing about it we know they will come in force, there was at least 9 cars and about 15 officers. No one was found shot and all ended well.

Shit, really? That means we got "swatted" probably because of our video stream on YouTube. Someone wanted to see it on camera. That's fucked.

There wass no damage done By Lakewood PD. Mario called and he gave them my number, I taked to there Sergeant on the phone and we exited the building, they had us walk backwards with our hands on our head and then had us kneel down with our hands on the top of our head and then searched us. I gave them my key to enter the building, other wise they would have broke in the front door if I did not talk to them on the phone. All was good they were just doing their job.

That's unfortunate, but at least they handled it reasonably considering the situation. Swatting has become pretty common, unfortunately, so maybe they're prepared to deal with it. Usually it targets people streaming games online, but I suppose any place with a camera that lets people watch things unfold online is probably a good target for people looking for that kind of entertainment.

Damn that is not cool. I would have been freaking out if I was there alone last night an that shit happened. Glad everything worked out OK Russ and Dick. Thank you for cleaning the track up, the carpet needed vacuumed badly.

It was not bad dealing with Lakewood PD, with the job I do I knew what was going to happen, just got to do what they ask and go with the flow.
It sucks loosing the live feed, but I understand why .

It was kind of nerve boggling to know we had about 15 AR-15 and about 8 pistols point at us and if we burped or farted wrong we would look like Swiss cheese.

I'm a racer from Texas that's been truck driving from Golden, CO to Dallas,TX. A few of the guys from RSD that went to your race a few weeks ago told me about your place. Didn't realize your that close to Golden. I typically drop and pick up trailers there. But I see you guys are in a Kings parking lot. I could show up in just my truck. LOL
Would like to check it out.

We really haven't raced much since MHIC in April which is when a few of your friends may have been here. We have a permanent indoor carpet track that is in a King Soopers shopping center located at Colfax and Quail.
Lately we've only been practicing on Thursday evenings each week. If you want to stop in some time we're here from 5pm till 10pm. We usually start our Winter race program sometime around the the middle of Oct but with IIC not happening this year it maybe a little earlier.
If your interested in a race weekend, coming up we will be holding our 1st MHOC (Mile High Outdoor Champs) race at MHOR Raceway Aug 7-9th. Several Dallas area drivers are coming. MHOR is located on the other side of town 225 and I-70 area. If your in town this weekend we'll be club racing on this outdoor track Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
