Default Thread Junkies...why?

Why do some members insist on starting a whole new thread EVERY time they have a new question to ask? Typically the questions are all related to a specific vehicle that already has an "official" thread.

I can never understand why people get upset about such things. Did you do a search about people complaining about people creating new threads before creating this one?

Parents did not teach Generation Whine how to do anything for themselves.

It would be great if everyone that owns that vehicle was always watching the "official" thread so they could chime in when a question is asked, but many aren't. There are a lot of threads that become dead, and sometimes you'll get a faster response by asking a specific question in a new thread. That, and the search function doesn't work all that well. Reading the entire thread isn't always a great idea either. You might find that it's got 450pages dating back 2 years, but for 1/3 of it LarrySlash and MoeSlash are arguing about what's the best color wheels..

There may be some truth to that.
