Last time I was in Edmonton was many years ago. My wife and I stayed at the mall in one of the theme rooms with a jacuzzi. We wandered the mall looking for things I didn't need. Spent lots of time in the sporting goods store. Sarah was fascinated with the ice fishing equipment and has been hounding me ever since: we should try that! We found the indoor cart shop with the 10hp carts. I spent a wad of cash there. So much more fun then the 5hp cart we have in the States. Had some good eats and I am sure a pint or two.

Now I am looking forward to returning once again for some fun. It seems that the weekend is coming on fast. I will be testing cars and thing will certainly change, but here are the classes/pt's:

12 stock - 5167637
12 mod - 8009851

Is there anyone selling 12th scale spec tires on sight?

Brian,
I can get a set of the spec tires from Alex, before I come. If I recall, approx. $40 cdn per set ish. [email protected] You can pay him, & I can pick them up mid week.

Hey Rob,

Bring out that M07 you said you got. If you don't have time to build it before or during the race cause running those 2 classes of yours is to too much work, I'll have plenty of time between my runs to help build it for you. I want to see an M07 in action!

I'd also like to thank the efforts of all, for a great event. It was our first time to this event, and it didn't disappoint.

I'd like to also thank all, for the "fun" & patience racing with Cole... his racing has come a long way, but there's still some learning left. An extra thanks to Danny & Ivan for the help we needed, to make it a success.

Cheers to all the locals also, for the hospitality & the time put in.

Default Winners Pictures

Congratulations to all the racers that came from far and near to make this a great event. I would like to thank all the local racers that helped setup, run, and take down the track when done.

Congratulations to all the winners from the different classes. Pictures as seen below (split into two posts due to max per post)

Default Fun weekend!

Thanks Edmonton Nascar club and all their volunteers for a super fun weekend!

It’s always a great time at this race from the chit chat and smack talking with new and old friends, to the competition on the track being intense in every class yet the race environment was super laid back!

Love the 5 rolls of carpet!!!

Edmonton: thanks for having me. I really enjoyed the entire weekend. The track and building was just like home; old and lumpy. I loved it! Ample pit space. I got to play: let name the creature caught in the trap box. That was exhilarating. The BC Boys kept the entertainment in check. Josh had the same 25 song play list going all weekend, so I have all the lyrics down now. I got to help a few guys with set up questions. I got to apologize for dumping a few cars. And I didn't realize that Ivan hates to marshal. His logic is that if he signs up for everything, he won't have to. That's kind of nuts! But again, like Josh said earlier, WCICS is something that drivers should want to do and if its a good show, they will attend. I had a blast.
