The Thompson Valley R/C Race Club is once again proud to present the "2006 Kamloops Mid-Winter Challenge Race. February 10, 11th and 12th.

CLASSES

Touring Stock (ROAR 27 Turn)
Touring Mod (No Motor Limit)
Touring 19 Turn (Locked Endbell)
Touring Novice (Stock Motors, First Year Only)
Pro-10 (1/10th Scale Pan, 19 Turn Locked Enbell)
1/12th Scale (19 Turn Locked Endbell)
1/18th Scale Micro


All classes wil run Foam Tires.
All Touring Car Classes to run 4 door body shells except Novice.
No GTP Shells in Pro-10.
Qualifying by IFMAR Starts
Minimum 4 cars per class
Personal transponders WILL be recognized for use.
Tables and chairs will be provided.
Please bring long extension cords and power bars.

Teching for this race will be kept to a minimun so racers are expected to abide by the rules as outlined by the club. If any racers vehicle apears to be questionable, they will be asked to produce their car for teching. This race is all about having fun and playing fair as many people from out of town join us for some competitive, fast R/C Car racing. Why not make plans to join us on this February 10th to 12th weekend. There will be lots of great prizes and HUGE TROPHIES this time around so don't miss it.

ACCOMODATIONS

The following is a list of Hotels/Motels. They are all within 5 minutes from the school gym and just happen to be the newer accomodations within the city and are all grouped together. The prices quoted are for one room with 2 double beds with 2 adults for one night. They do not include taxes. I may be able to get a group discount for 5 or more rooms booked at a particular Hotel. Is mod 10t limit or not?

"ROAR Open Motors" is a contradiction as ROAR ( I believe) still uses the 10t limit, but open suggests anything goes.

Just want to get this cleared up now before I buy a new motor for the race.

This race is now 30 days away and fast approaching. There are 2 classes that I need to make sure we will fill. Touring Stock and 1/18th Micro. If you think that you might be running in one or both of these classes, please let me know so that trophies can be firmed up for orders. This can be done either by this site or by emailing me.
