#204-RACEWAY=Winnipeg.
Hello Team Manitoba.
My Name is Dave Chennell and I will be taking over operations at Winnipegs best off-road remote controlled car track.
I began racing at the age of 11 in 1984 with a Tamiya Frog at the Wildwood community center in Fort Garry. My second car was a 12th scale by team associated RC 12E. I took a hiatus for a few years to discover girls and nightclubs but other than that have been In love with this sport ever since.
Its been a dream of mine for years to have and run my own facility.
For the most part it will be buisness as usual.
1/8 scale Nitro Buggy
1/8 scale Nitro Truggy
1/8 scale Electric buggy
1/10 scale mod buggy
1/10 scale 4wd mod buggy
1/10 short course
Novice=anything with 4 wheels electric.
I am going to strongly enforce a couple of minor details;
-Zero Profanity.
-Zero Tantrums.
-Marshalling.
A season Pit pass will be available (not pro rated).
A monthly Pit pass will be available.
A 3 visit pass will be available.
If marshalling isnt your bag, no problem, don't marshall.
Additional $20.00 per class.
I am going to implement an "AMBASSADOR PROGRAM".
-If you take on a Novice (my discretion). Your entry fee will be reduced by 50%. As an ambassador you will be helping someone with all of their rc car related issues. You will be a liason between them and the other seasoned racers to ease the shut out sense that beginners tend to receive.
We are going to run a race series.
I am currently involved in securing a title for it.
There will be a "ribbon race" at the end of each month with points associated with it.
There will be a Provincial Championship at the end of the season which will be part of the points series as well. My goal is to hand out Huge A$$ trophies at this race.
For more specific info (DO NOT USE RC TECH TO GET AHOLD OF ME!!)

or
My text is 1-204-997-0149 (Preface your text with your full name please)
There will be a steep learning curve for me as I've no idea what I'm doing however, I hope to grow this sport to unprecidented attendance levels in this province.
Sincerely
Dave.

Congrats Mr Dave Chennell. This is great news for the winnipeg racers and for the off road racing winnipeg is known for.
You can count me in for sure. As a racer ambassador and a buddy that enjoys a great race partner.
