The website is new for this year's race. You can find it HERE .

Boarder_man,

Final details regarding the track are being hammered out. As soon as the design and all of the other details are sorted a layout will be posted.

Thanks Mike for posting the link to the website. For those of you still wondering what the track looks like go back and read post 225 where I tell you that it will be posted on January 15th. All pertinent information will be posted then. As far as handout motors is concrened, if we were running an IFMAR or ROAR sanctioned event we probably would have handout motors, but we are not so it will be run whatcha' brung.

So we can run any motor in 1/10 2WD Elec buggy then? Nice

The hours that are posted on the new website are for spectators, correct? We get to start practicing before 5pm on Friday right?

Will it be controlled practice to allow the electric classes a chance to get some track time?

I believe Friday will? But someone will have to confirm that. Thursday is definitely open practice.

Very sad to find out that I wont be able to attend this event! It looks like it is going to surpass the last two years' shows and they were a hoot! On the bright side, I will be in Jasper watching my kid compete in the Jasper Junior Olympics and getting a few turns in myself!! Have fun everyone and good luck to boys from Edmonton!!

Yes. Cost money to rent the building and I think our race fees may cover Friday? Maybe?
