RACING ANNOUNCEMENT:
We were planning on starting our summer season with a meeting and setup on Saturday, racing Sunday, but with the rain in the forecast and a family emergency with one of the main club members, this weekend will be postponed yet again.
We are looking into a work-around, but at the moment it will be postponed to next weekend.
NEW for RRR:
We are looking for old cars you would like to bring out as loaner cars for novice drivers or those interested in joining this hobby. As of now there should be 1 electric touring car and 1 nitro touring car.
Rental Transponders:
Work in progress. As of now, please bring your own AMB/MyLaps transponders.
Please comment below if you are coming out next Saturday and Sunday, as we definitely need the helping hands with setup.
Location:
BCIT Aerospace Campus
3800 Cessna Drive
Richmond, BC
V7B 0A1
The lot is the first entrance accessible when heading North on Russ Baker Way after you pass Gilbert.
Schedule:
1st and 3rd Sundays of the month will be club racing with points. Remaining Sundays are test and tune days with race heats In the afternoon.
There are a few out of town weekends where RRR will not be running to attend events. Those will be posted shortly. The expected events are IROCC Speed Weekend in Victoria - June, and Timezone Grand Prix in Battleground, WA - July.
Pricing:
To keep track funds out of the red they will be the same as last year, but with a higher kickback for volunteers.
Practice & Quick Race Days:
$25 per person
Club Racing:
$25 First Class, $5 Additional Classes
$10 reimbursed to racers helping with track setup and tear down.
While it seems gimmicky, our kick backs helped us last year, after a season of just 4-5 people staying the year before.
Series champions prizes will be handed out at the end.
Classes:
The usual outdoor on-road classes:
1/10 Nitro (.12 or RTR engines)
1/10 Touring Stock(17.5) and Touring Open
Tamiya Mini Orca or Silvercan Spec
VTA/GT
New additions pending turnout:
F1, WGT, Novice class
We are all anxious to race. With more helpers volunteering, setup and tear down will be a breeze this year!
Questions, comments, suggestions? Please post below.

Hopefully next Sunday will be nice and sunny. So, I assume next Sunday will be a test and tune day? I'll help with setup but cant tear down until school finishes, then I'll help with both setup and tear down.
