I dunno what the issue is; light rain for Friday nice the rest of the weekend. Our track is mostly sand and it soaks up water very well.

Wet track = AMAZING traction. Rain will be the Bonus IF it comes, keeps the dust down.
You guys really trust the weather guys? Lol at this rate you'll never get out to run. Take a chance racing guaranteed to be a blast rain or shine.

Ok tomorrow is the big day. The forecast is calling for some rain. But the track is really dry and will definitely benefit from the moisture. Only calling for a few mm on Sat and looks good for Sunday. One nice thing is the whole track is on a good grade for drainage. Also the new track site is much better then the old one for getting in and out with vehicles when it is a little wet. Don't let the weather get you down because we all know this is Alberta and the forecast can change any min.
Last year we had a few days of rain and the track was dry within a few hours. We have built in drainage. I think it will work out great. More traction and will cut down on the dust blowing around.
The track layout is awesome and the addition of the covered driver stand is definitely nice when the sun comes out.
Can't wait to get to racing and to meet all of you... My name is Joey Springer and don't hesitate to come up and say hello. Also any suggestions about the track or how we might be able to do things better are always welcome.
Remember the most important thing is to get out there and have fun!!!!!
