Yes, currently it is Open Tire aka Foam ok.

We'll see how the entries go. It is possible that the TC Superstock class will simply convert to Mod. The foam tire may become an issue if this happens as the majority seem to want Rubber.

So "the people" are finally going to grow up and run big power again? ...took long enough.

I think everyone should have to run on those hpi rubber tires, and mini should have locked diffs, and Brent should start at the front of every race.

You can register me in

Default track surface

hi guys

Just curious, whats the track surface like? Meaning carpet on rug, or carpet on hard floor.that will determine whether some guys will come or not.

It will be carpet on carpet. We ran in this facility 2 years ago and had no problems. Race carpet pulled down nice and flat, traction was good, and very little "squish" from the 2 layers of carpet.

It will be the same for everyone. What are your (their) concerns with carpet on carpet?

Did you guys decide on a spec tire yet for MOD sedan and 17.5 Sedan?

I want to know if I should be putting you on the tire list or not.... It's not fair to me if you leave this to the last minute..

Default Spec Tire

Hi Everyone,

After review with the Club, the spec tire for this event will be the Jaco Blue.

Jaco's will be required for TC classes. Options are as follows.

For those on a Budget, a set can be brought to the RD and be signed off for the weekend. You must use these Signed set for the weekend. No Option for a "new" set will be allowed once racing begins.

Those interested in new sets: $30 per set
1 set allowed per TC class and you must use the assigned set in the correct class. ie Stock set run in Stock and SS/Mod set run in SS/Mod.
You may opt to run on a single set of tires in both TC classes if you wish.

Should a tire fail during the weekend, that tire will be replaced (ie break one, get one, not a complete set).
