weather is just like where you live, were not that far north.
We'll most likely add 4wd short course, if the rcpro race this past weekend taught us anything about the class.........
We have full electricity, no night lighting (but is stays light until 9:30).
As for trailers we need to find out if we can use the land next to us, but as the city is currently putting in a road it's not looking to good right now.
videos are here http://www.rcgears.net/category/videos/
here's some photos when we built the track last summer. We will be making some changes to the track soon.
oh yah if you make it up you have to bring the B-main beenie. I would love to see nitro guys wearing it!

Where in Canada?
Ah, found it in the link. It's Calgary.
Is it above freezing in August in Calgary? Wondering if we need to bring a parka. http://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/redface.gif
4wd shortcourse?
How's the power situation? Parking for trailers? Lights? Any overhead pictures of the facility?

I'm sure this will be an awesome event. I have registered and so has one of my team racers from Quebec. I am flying him up here for this event and some local track meetings. He will be running Nitro and Electric buggy.
I have reserved a trailer site with full hookups at "Mountain View Campground". Does anyone know how far it is from the track? On the map, it looks to be fairly close.

Plan on a 15 to 20 minute drive. If that's the one on hwy 1 at RR 284.

This year we're going to try something different pending the entries we get for electric and nitro. In a few races I've attended in the states they seperate the electric and nitro qualifying. On the Saturday we'll be running all the electric qualifiers first have a small break then run all the nitro qualifiers. On the Sunday the same will be done with mains.
By splitting the classes you're able to run more classes and you don't have to maintain all the cars through out the day, just part of it. So giving that we'll open the entry limit to 4 entries (2 electric and 2 nitro).
Thanks
Mark

Hey everyone if you haven't signed up yet there are 23 days left to do so. With some in put and the talent's of Brian and Larry we have some great looking trophies to give out and the TQ trophy is unique as well. We can't forget the cash payout for the top 3 finishers in Nitro, Electric 1/8 and SC.
Thanks

But just as a newbie offroader here, cash payout sounds great for the top 3 in each class but would you consider a cash payout (even just returning the entry fee) for the top in the lower mains (b, c, etc.)? Would give an 'extra' reward to the guys that don't make the A's (or even the B's) and since you don't have an intermediate class either. Barring breakage, engine failure, severe bad luck or any unforseen circumstances there's a small pool of names you already know who's at the top. I'm just asking not trying to stir up s#^t.
