Good question Curtis... I'd be interested in a novice class with my t4... Since I'm a noob.

ill be racing
2wd open kyosho rb5 sp& 4wd open kyosho lazer fs
darren will race 4wd open with the kyosho lazer rtr
i hope the kyosho boys will be racing with us
it was a pleasure watching brian munn race last year.
it has brought new enthusiasm back for 2wd.
it showed us all the importance of clean lines around the track.
he is a great ambassador for raceing
his advice to my son was dont crash and you will win the race
and darren didnt crash and won the race.
great advice to give a new racer.
somtimes we focus on speed and not driving skill
darrens time in the final novice class,
was as good as the fifth place in the a main of 4wd open.
not bad for a $199 kyosho lazer rtr right out of the box
boogety boogety boogety lets go racing boys
see ya all there

Is there any where near the track that we could camp at?
Like rally near the track.
Or maybe billet.
Is this track wheel chare accessible?
like the driver stand for instance?

What time will this all start on the 16th?

If you poast here there will be more people there.

I'd like to run my
FT B44
Sc10 Mod.
FTB4 which is sitting at Hi-Performance distributer right now.
Maybe a anSc10 4x4 if AE gets it together on time.
Hey maybe the FT sc10 will be out in canada by then.
So then i could run stock as well.
Most of us have PT's

I will post something on RC Pit Stop forums later on. Guys know about the event and the word will spread. (last year I posted there and saw ZERO interest on the thread)

As for classes, don't get too crazy. i'd suggest sticking to 3 or less...or you'll be all over the track and the pit. (Plus there will be marshalling duties to cover). And we insist that drivers do not enter Stock and Open in the same chassis class...its one or the other.

Wheel Chair access: the facitity itself it pretty wheelchair friendly, but the stand is most certainly not. There is plenty of room once up there, but only stairs to get up there. (PM me with specifics and we'll try to accommodate you).

Questions?? quiet

This thread has quietened down? Is there no interest in electric racing anymore? Brian Munn contacted me and he's trying real hard to make it to this race and he'd like to bring some other fast drivers along from Washington.

I am going to be hard pressed to make all the races this summer...especially in July. The week prior to this Electric Challenge is Burlington's NCT date and 2 weeks after this date i'm getting married. One week after that is the CAMRC Kamikazi CORCS event. Yikes...wish me luck!

Regardless...this sounds like a great summer for r/c racing!

Default Bump.

Wow, this fell onto the next page.

Working on the entry form, and will have it out to everyone shortly. Who all is coming to this one? Should be a good time.

Hmm , time to spice up this thread a little. Lets get the online sign up going so I can enter hehehehe.
I look forward to racing Brian Munn this year since he looks like a fast guy and it would be a test of how much I need to learn on the track.
Put me down for 2 wheel mod buggy & 4 wheel mod buggy.
I will try to bring Mike Savoie to this race with me and possibly my oldest son too.
