For the record the sc10 brushless uses a 3300kv motor, and the new slash vxl uses a 3400kv motor. LRP (and most others) rates 3300kv as 13.5 turns, Traxxas for some reason decided their 3400kv motor should be called a 10.5 so.. I dunno, will be interesting to see.

Outdoors I've found my brushless SC10 only has an advantage on the straightaways. It will runaway from the stock brushed slash's after 50 feet or so, but is only marginally faster than the brushed SC10. But on the infield the brushed motors seem to have more punch. Tight indoor track should be the same. FYI: I'm still running the original spur and pinion.

Any favorite tires???
See you Sunday.

THANKS TO ALL THAT BRAVED THE SNOW AND COLD FOR OUR FIRST INDOOR OFF ROAD RACE. WE HAD A COUPLE DRIVERS FROM REDDEER COME DOWN, SO THANKS TO CORY AND STEVE FOR MAKING THE DRIVE. SO LETS GET TO THE ACTION

A-MAIN CORE TRUCKS

WE HAD 5 TRUCKS AND WE GOT DOWN TO 3, KEVIN GOT A SWEET RIDE FROM JONESY AND DROVE THAT TRUCK LIKE A MINI, AS JOHN CHASED HIM TO TRY TAKE THE VICTORY, BUT IT WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR KEVIN TOOK HIS FIRST WIN OF THE NEW YEAR. NICE RUN ALL.

KEVIN- 25
JOHNNY- 24
BILL- 17

A-MAIN OPEN CLASS

WOW WAS THIS A GREAT RACE, JAMES AND CORY SHOWED SOME GREAT SKILL AS THEY BATTLED THE WHOLE RACE AND DID IT PROPERLY AS THEY TWISTED AND TURNED AND LAID DOWN SOME GREAT LAPS. AT ONE POINT RYAN BLAIR WAS THROWN IN THE MIX AND ALL 3 WERE WITHIN 3 SECONDS TO EACH OTHER. THIS CAME DOWN TO THE LAST LAP AS JAMES GOT HUNG UP AND CORY TOOK THE RACE BY 2.25 SECONDS. NICE RUN ALL

CORY- 22
JAMES- 22 ( 2.25 )
RYAN B- 21
STEVE L- 19
MARK - 10

A-MAIN 2WD BUGGY

JONESY HAD 4 STRONG QUALIES AND HAD SOME TROUBLES IN THE MAIN, WHICH OPENED THE DOOR FOR AARON TO TAKE HIS FIRST MAIN WIN AS AARON GOT HIS CAR FIGURED OUT JUST IN TIME FOR THE MAIN. THIS WAS RYHS'S FIRST TIME DOING OFF ROAD AS HE IS JUST GETTING INTO ONROAD, AND THEN HAD TO GET USED TO OFFROAD, NOT A EASY TASK BUT HE WAS STARTING TO GET THE HANG OF IT TOWARD THE END. NICE RUN ALL

AARON- 24
JONESY- 22
ALNOOR- 21
RYHS- 18

THANKS ALL FOR HELP WITH SET UP AND TEAR DOWN, AS WELL FOR AARON FOR SPEAR HEADING THE INDOOR PROGRAM AND FOR SCOTT WHO KEEPS US FEED WITH TRANSPONDERS, AND KEVIN FOR HIS TIRELESS HELP FOR BOTH CLUBS. AND TO ALL THE RACERS THAT JUST WANT TO RUN SOME RC.

OUR NEXT INDOOR OFF ROAD WILL BE SUNDAY JAN 30 SET UP AT 5

THANKS ALL

BRAD

Any idea when the next race will be after the 30th. I will most likely not be there as it conflicts with... having to work. Any dates yet for February? Thanks for the fun last night guys. Defenitly be back down when the races fit into my schedule.

Hey

Great night of racing. Had some core truck issues, but got the B4 close to where I want it.

Next race is Jan 30th.

I will chat with brad about February bookings and post as soon as we know.

Thanks all.

Hey Aaron, it's Andrew. I haven't been out in a while. I'm going to try and come on the 30'th. What is the time and address of the race? I'll try my best to make it out.
