How about some pictures? I'm excited as it is for the coming winter season without you teasing!. My brother in law from Lloyd wants to come down and get an off-road fix over the winter, and I think I'll pick up a 4wd serpent buggy for this winter.

So, new, stickier track. I'm guessing Blockades won't be ideal. What are we looking at for rear tires? Something with a lower tread profile? How about compound? Not sure how this dirt thing works.

Hey Jim

Only 2 people have ran on the track so far so we are not sure yet on tires. Similar to when we opened a year ago, a favorite tire will come to the top and everyone will know about it. We just have't got to that point yet. It may be worth holding off until that happens. I will be waiting with you as I am not a tire expert.

Maybe some of the ones that have run on the new surface can give some insight?

Thanks

Aaron

I have only run a couple tires so far. I think we are looking to a bit stiffer tire. x link ultra soft had amazing traction but showed a lot of wear. Positrons for the little I ran seemed real good. Hard to tell on wear as I didn't get to run much. Traction seems to be better than before.

I guess we'll see how it goes. I've been hearing good things about Positrons.

Thanks to all the guys who've worked their butts off getting the track fixed up.

Hi All

Just a quick update for everyone. The facility is coming along and is looking great. Thanks to all those that supported us this year and will continue to support us in the future. A couple updates pics for everyone:

I did a few laps on the new dirt and track layout and it is fast, grippy, and takes water well.

We are ahead of schedule and will announce a re-opening date soon.

There may even enough room on the pit area floor for some super fast lap short track Tamiya mini action...

Thank

Aaron

That's cool! Can't wait to try it out. I do want to see if anyone is interested in a 1/10 rally sedan class if that's possible

Do you guys use normal AMB transponders for timing?

Hello

We use the ilaps system. If you need a transponder, we have loaners or you can purchase them from the club.

Thanks

Aaron

Hey

We usually order about 10 at a time and they sell new for about $40 to $45 depending on the exchange rate. Trukz makes no money on these and sells them at the price we pay for them.

Post here on the buy and sell or on the Trukz facebook page and you may be able to find a used one. We have sold about 300 of them since we started KARZ and Trukz.

Thanks

Aaron
