04 World of Wheels
#16
Hey guys, I went and changed the date of this race to Jan 31/Feb1. That was believe it or not the only other weekend I could choose from. I hope this fixes the Calgary problem and also that it doesn't cause any other problems for people plannin for Feb 21/22 already. Anyway, kinda big news so I will change the entry forms and posters and get them out ASAP. Thanks fellas and we'll see ya sooner than later.

Hey Gary,
If you need help with the World of Wheels, please call me. Also when can we register....I dont want to loose my spot as I have had so much fun at this event in the past. Also can a person run both Off-Road vehicles and Touring Cars in 2 different classes.
Thanks
Chris

Was dissapointed with the response from our On-road racers, one showed up for the meeting. Here's the rundown on whats going to happen.
Surface will be astro turf, TC guys break out your best mini pins for the race.
Stock motors, 8min races.
Personal transponders will be fine as we are using the new lap counting equipment.
Classes will be Touring Car and Off-road. We will be having Mini-T's there also. You can only run a mini-t as a second class. You must have a regular car or truck to run at the event. NO mini-t only racers. We don't race mini-t's and this event is to show what we do race.
You will get your pass for the race as soon as you show up with your racing gear in hand. I will be there friday to give out the passes when you show up.
We will be having one last meeting before the race to organize the picking up and setting up of equipment. Set up and tear down is not optional, everyone must participate and help out. The next meeting wil be feb 13 at 7 pm at the horse shoe club. You can email me your entry with what class(es) you will be running.
Cost to enter is $10.
Oh yeah, we already have 16 of the 32 spots filled for the race.
I will make up a quick entry form after this weekends race in Red Deer.
