Gary - I think you meant to say "kudos to Mandie & Giles" correct?
Thanks again to all who came out to this event making it the best event RCRE has ever held. We've got a lot of work to do between now and the end of August to top this event but rest assured we will be up to the task.
Hope to see you all at the Nationals in a few weeks!

Great time ... great racing! Way to go Edmonton on that great racers stand!

RDs you were awesome!

MT drivers it was great to share the stand with you guys/ gals and not have the pressure. Joking away on the stand knowing full well that we are boys with toys! That being said look out at the finals....I plan on charging up both my batteries! Yes sir then we will have a race.

Our Team member with the broken wing was upset that he missed one quallie. He did make it back and race the race the next day! Thanks to all those that dropped by to check him out, you don't know how your words lifted his spirit!

Hey Steve how about a bit of dirt at that top marshalling spot to eliminate the trip hazard there. It is a unique spot and tripping results in a disaster down hill tumble.

Looking forward to the finals!!!!!!!

What's the deal with the invite list? People who are guaranteed entry if the race is full?

I'll make you a deal Dale .......... I'll take care of a "little fill" in that spot if you'll ensure proper foot wear is worn. I'm glad your team member is alright - it was great to see him back on the stand only a couple of hours after the incident.

I discussed it briefly with Gary at the race and crocs will not be allowed on the track or on pit lane for future races - they will fall into the same category as open toe shoes which are not currently allowed.

Hey all, just reveiwing the points. Just a quck question, what critreria is used to determine who places higher in the points standings in the event of a tie?

The invite list for the finals is determined by your final standings in the series. The top 10 in each class in each province are given invites and first opertunity to register for the Canadian finals. After one week it is then opened to the remaining racers. To qualify you must have raced at least one RC Pro event throughout the series. Hope this helps.

Tim

They take the points from your best 2 of 3 races, if there is a tie then they use the 3rd "throwaway race" for the tiebreaker.

I found this hope it helps with ties.

What about ties?
Tie breakers will be as follows:

1. Racers with the most TQ's.
2. Racer with the most first place finishes.
3. Racer with the most 2nd place finishes.
4. Most 3rd place finishes.
5. Most 4th places.

The tie breaker is suppossed to be your throw away round. I will check my points program to see whats up.

GREAT race, and an awesome facility, I can't imagine how they could make it better, so I am looking forward to Nationals.

PS> Gary....no Alberta write-up on RC Pro site? Thanks for the quick results by the way.
