Hi All,

It seems that we have some question/concern regarding legality of a brushless brand.

T-bang in particular.

I am deeming that T-bang 13.5 and 17.5 are legal for the Big Chill

I have seen the motor already and it is a Trinity motor with TRI stamp on the endbell. I will look at this as a Trinity motor with a different sticker on it.

If anyone have question regarding legality of their motor(s) in the spec class. Please ask us to make sure that you don't get DQ at the race.

ps. yes we will randomly check your motor if it seem faster then other.

Thanks for the info, Nospoom. Yes, we are a registered OEM motor tuner of TRINITY ROAR legal motors. This is/was the same situation with the brushed motors as well. For example, some US racers ran T-Bang Type C (Co27) and Hemi K at last year's ROAR Carpet Nationals. You can also find the various motors and part numbers on the current roar Approved Motors list.

Thanks again,
Phil

Just for reference - so nobody is confused. These are the ROAR approvals for our base motors:

Type Importer Manufacturer Name/Description mH* Approval Date

Stock Trinity Trinity TRI 10210 17.5T (red timing plate) 34.0 May 20, 2008
Super Stock Trinity Trinity TRI 10210 13.5T (blue timing plate) 20.5 May 20, 2008

As Phil said - we don't actually build these suckers. We just blueprint and tune them up and make sure that everything is to spec on our dyno.

The Trinity endbell is left in place, along with all factory tolerances, specifications, etc. You're more than welcome to tear them down and measure (after you buy one....).

That said - they are going like hotcakes right now and will be sold out before the race, so order one now if you want it because we are not expecting the next shipment until late October.

Some of you were looking forward to seeing me at the chill. Due to our tough economic times. I will not be call and RD for the chill this year. Hope the race goes well, see you all soon.

Hey guys, Fast Eddie and Super Mario are in for some Electric Racing Action! Nitro is over, so what choice do we have????

First Class - We will both run 1/12 scale - DSM - Personal number to come...

Second Class - I will try to get my XRay T1 going to run 13.5 - lipo - DSM - Public Trasponder.
If possible, Fast Eddie and I would like to share this car. So if you can split us up (different heats) that would rock! That is, only if it is possible.

I am glad to hear that the T-Ban 13.5 is approved, I just bought one.

Question. I have a Novak 5800SS Brushless system. Does anybody know what turn brushless motor this is?
I bought the 13.5 T-Banger hoping this will work with that speed control.

Thanks,

Super Mario

5800SS system most likely come with 8.5T motor. But the speed control should works with other motors.

running 1 car between two people?
it should be interesting especially when both of you are in the same main!

Oh man, I've been out of the scene too long that most of my stuff is outdated. Besides, I am aching for a payback against stickman after his napping manuever on the starting line during the bc place race
