overgeared racing on the carpet
#106
Hi, Guys.
Not sure how many are coming from Victoria on the 29th. Mick and I are in for sure and we'll know more likely after the holidays. Chris, do you think you could scare up a few F1 drivers to round out a LeMans heat with Pro10? Looking forward to racing on the the big track again!
Have a great Christmas, everyone.
Phil

Great to see all of you enjoyed racing and having fun.
Mini is sure a class to have fun with. Even the fastest mini out there was not the top contender.
We hope to see you all again in 2 weeks. This should give enough time for anyone out there, to get a mini together and have fun. Remember this is just a fun class. No restrictions on any chassis, motors or batteries. It's all about the fun. Maybe oneday if there's enough people we can split the outlaws from the regular minis. Right now...lets have fun together.

Mini was really good fun. Some close racing..
If we split outlaw and spec, I'd run both class.
dirtslide, easiest to drive mini is likely the m03L, the one with the BMW mini body. Longest wheelbase and front wheel drive. The swift, m03m, is likely close ( mid length fwd) and the kit's better with some bearings and much better knuckle design. I'd go with the swift if you can.

Guys,
Just FYI,
ROAR has now anounce brushless and LiPo are now legal in Electric racing.
for stock 27t, Brushless equivalence is 17.5 (Effective Imediately)
for 19t Super Stock, Brushless equivalence is 13.5 (Effective 2009)
LiPo are for 6 cell Ni-XX class only
hard case is a must and hopefully a list of aproval packs will be available by May
So for those who want to run Brushless in the club race, this is something to think about.

Hey, OGR.
Glad to see you are moving forward with adopting some of the ROAR rules. Can you spell it out a little clearer for me? What will you be adopting for Super Stock? Or will you stay with the 19T class. In other words, are you adopting the 2009 rules right away? Or are you going to phase it in etc. Thanks!
Phil
