I wasn't lumping LiMN and A123 batteries together. both are completely different. LiMn packs are prismatic while A123 cells are cylindrical. plus they're two different chemistries.

I have one of the so-called 'safe' cells here. it's an emoli cell, which is different than the A123 cells and LiMN packs. I'll bring it and let you guys check it out.

Hi, Guys.

Thanks for a great day of racing yesterday. It was the first time that I have driven my 1/12th scale on such an open track! In Victoria we run six foot lanes since we only have the one class so this was double the size in terms of width and an extra roll of carpet to boot. Wow. Completely different ball game.

Thanks, Jesse, Chris and Nospoom ( and anyone else I may have missed) for keeping things on schedule. It's a thankless job ... so thanks!

So far, from what I can tell there are four of us confirmed to come over from Victoria on the 29th and likely a couple or three more. I'll be sure to give you a heads up as best I can. Bye for now.

Phil

Hi Phil,

Glad to see you enjoyed yourself. Next time you should be in 19T 12/scale class. Stock 12th scale is just no challenge for you.

The F1 is a blast to run. Hopefully we get more F1s or Pro 10 out next time.
I'll e-mail you on the F1.

Hey Guys, That was a fun day of trading paint....fo sho... I love stock...

I'll run 1/12 stock next time out...if my batteries are still alive by then...

*****
Some points I'd like to bring up....

Some guys recommend we run a self policing weight rule with a tolerance of about 12-15 grams at the lowest.

What do you all think? this would be for all Touring classes...

Feed back please....

12 gram min weight! Count me in!

I think he means 'Have your car with in 12-15g of the ROAR weight for your class'. Good idea, but I don't think I own enough lead.

Default That was fun - even for a spectator

Thanks for the great afternoon of entertainment.

My son and I really enjoyed watching all the cool cars.

Chris, it would sure be fun to drive the Mini Quake on that track (it would be a lot slower than what you guys are using). Trying to negotiate the turns and long straight sections seems more fun than just driving around in an open lot.

All you would need is a few small jumps and it would be a regular off road adventure.

Look forward to watching your group race next time, great job.

Scott,

It's our great pleasure to exhibit great racing in our community for all to enjoy.
Next time, we need to hook you up with novice touring cars. Not to mention bring Yui along next time.
