Yea this is not the palce start , it will not be a class in the WCICS this year for sure.

Also maybe start a canadain drift topic and get the interest up . i would be interested to see the amount of people and what all is said i know the test i seen the plastic tires hurt the carpet.

That would be Josh.
I met with him today and we talked about that very topic.
He's pulled back from racing, but should still be able to do some updates, and I believe that Killer Kevin has been in touch with Josh to get that moving.

I am not sure that is the intention of the GT class? Maybe there should be some real rules laid out for the class because right now there are a lot of loop holes.

The basics are there

Any 1/10th chassis
silver can (one motor)
any wcics legal battery
rubber tires (carpet friendly IE. no offroad tires)

For the season

It has been voted 3 our of 4

that there will be 3 rounds of qualifing on saturday and one on sunday

this is not saying if a club has a lower turn out and has lots of time they cant run a 4th round on saturday but thats up to the club and maybe ask the majority of people at the race.

Also it was a 50/50 split with a SMC spec pack after some extra talk so the Mini battery rule is
any nicd or nimh NON MATCHED up to 3600 for mini this season .

Yea exactly when you say any chassis you leave it open to a lot of different things. Any scale? Any type? You can adapt a sliver can and rubber tires to almost anything.

Almost forgot

2 of 3 class's of the main touring class's can be run (stock , 19 ,mod)

No you can run as many class's as you like in total.

Only thing is you must marshel or have someone marshel and only 2 mercy minutes per weekend per person . after the second time they will not wait for you ,some strange things can happen that may change this if its not your fault. Only one person can call a mercy minute once its called its the only one basicly if you needed it that was the time you would have got if the other guy didnt call it.

So I would assume that if 13.5 is excluded from this rule then it is no longer a points class? Otherwise it should be included.

OK. First of all. Calm down. If someone wants to adapt some carpet friendly rubber tires to run on their 10 pan and run it, then more power to them for being inventive. Although it wouldn't shock me if Bob Stormer shows up with his 10pan sporting rubber, and that would be a laugh to watch too.

Now. Second. GT FUN class. So, er....have fun with it? Just a thought. Might just work. Between GT and Mini we should be having a blast with a bare minimum of temper tantrums, yelling at marshalls and thrown radios....which after all is the point. Or am I missing something here?
