Default Brunei Beast joins the fray!

Wow, been a while since I RC-ed :P

Count me in for DRIFT class. 75.850 (Channel 83).

Are we looking at a carpet track like last year?

Matt, the tires choices varies. It could be Sorex 28 or 32s with green or red inserts from HPI. PJ 32 premounts works well too.
Anyone else had a good set up from last year??. Matt needs a hand here. cheers buddy.

It's all good. More likely than not I'll only make it a couple laps in before starting on fire, or ripping a wheel off the car. Gotta start somewhere.

DTP was the first race I ever attended. I always look forward to coming back.

I had pretty good luck on the carpet with CS22's, CS27's, and the Sorex 28's. Red or green inserts like Chris said. Sometimes I ran harder inserts in the front tires if there was too much grip.

Relatively soft suspension too. Actually, on my HB Cyclone, the setup isn't way different from how the car is set up for asphalt. Just some stiffer oil and slight tweaks on the roll center.

I'd like to sign up for:
Drift (channel 66)
RC18R (depending on if I can run my XRAY M18)

And are brushless motors and lipo batteries allowed in the 18 scale class?
