Ready to Run Raceway 2025 Summer On Road Racing - Vancouver RRR

RRR is now 17 years old. This club is old enough to get a drivers license! Of course, many of us are from the earlier racing clubs.
We look forward to continuing the annual fun in the sun RC racing season. Bring your cars, smiles and your friends and family.
Out of towners, please plan your trips with refundable hotels/ferries/etc. Short notice race cancellations for filming at the campus may occur.
We've added more dates to make up for filming and weather cancellations.

Ready to Run Raceway (RRR) to continue racing at YVR
Great news – Thanks to incredible efforts by club members and their families, we have been offered a way to stay racing in our current location.Notes:
-Previous rental cancellation was a misunderstanding. We race RC cars, not real cars.
-New communications directly with YVR, instead of through security company.
-Work to be done with safety compliance, organization formalities.
-Proposed rental fee is 4x previous. We are working on this.
What changes for racers:
-Increased club fees to cover rental cost, to be determined.
-Continue to bring all garbage HOME, not to any nearby garbage cans.
-Safety plan to be followed, prevent spectators from entering marked safety zone.
All remaining dates are now re-confirmed at YVR BCIT Student parking lot.

Happy Fathers Day!
We had a great club outing last Saturday, and with all the work happening in the background, we can re-confirm all remaining dates.
In the drivers meeting, we continued to thank all racers that help with setup and teardown.
We wish to remind all racers that this is an expected help so that we can all start racing earlier.
Changes if you missed them:
-We now have direct booking with YVR, filming should not affect us
-Rental rate for the lot has tripled, race fees increased by $10
-Pay for your own parking in the lot on race days via PayByPhone or meter
-Racers to pit in the same stalls as the drivers stand, pay extra in other areas
Out of town racers: while we have the lot strictly booked for us on our dates, we still recommend booking refundable/cancellable ferries, flights and hotels for poor weather or unexpected changes.
Our next scheduled race is this coming Saturday, June 20th.
