We would not be able to make an exception to the ROAR rule for esc's and motors. Open's up Pandoras box for others to start asking for exceptions.

Thank you to all of you that ran today's inaugural race of the So Cal RC Scale Series presented by Tuning Haus. 31 racers totaling 38 entries for the GT Sedan and Formula 1 classes. With the number of racers who have committed to running the series but could not make today's race due to holiday or family events, I am confident we will hit 30+ GT Sedans and over 20 F1 machines before the end of the series. It was great to hear the comments after the race from sedan drivers how they enjoyed the race format with the longer race times and pit stops. As Bill emphasized in the drivers meeting, this series is about having fun as much as being competitive and that was the attitude seen today. Bill and I would like to thank all of you for your support of our series.

Race results and points are already posted on TQ's website. Working on the race recap now and will have posted to the website in the next few days. We had some of the racers taking pictures today and will get those posted as soon as we receive them.

http://www.tqrcracing.com/forum/view...o=2&doc_no=350 Results from each round from today's races.

Until the next round.....STAYED TUNED !

Thanks Bill "Tuning Haus" Jeric and Panda for pushing to get this series up and running.

Thanks Kevin Panda for taking the time to give everyone props!

That's awesome and surely brings back the flavor of the UF1 that we all loved.

I hope it sparks the fire that a series like this deserves.
Glad to have you back out Cuda. We are hoping to get to the same level of fun and excitement as what Charles started a few years back. Now we just need to get the F1's back off the shelves and out racing. The GT Sedans drivers came out in force for round 1 !

It's a great start Panda, the "vibe" is really really good and of course the venue is top notch.
Gonna have to keep at it if I'm gonna be able to battle for at least a few laps.
See ya again soon
Happy Holidays to all

Hey Paul, Just trying to confuse you as I will miss round 5 being out of country celebrating CNY with family so this was my way not to miss a round.

Seriously, it is Saturday the 14th as Bill has noted and I have also corrected the original post for the series to show the correct dates for all 6 rounds. Thank you for pointing this out.

STAY TUNED !

I'm in for this Saturday

48 minutes of racing for $20!!!!!!!!!!

And that's cuz I'm only running 1 class.

Kick for a 2nd class and add 33 more minutes of racing!

Still the best RC racing format of all time!

Glad it is being continued

Now if I can get a carpet setup I can drive I'm gonna be all in.

Had to get talked down off the ledge the other day, way too frustrated but I think it's coming around?

I was on the ledge with you. My F1 car went 10.1 in morning warm up and was an uncontrollable beast in qualifying and race and I did not change anything. Will be out Friday throwing the kitchen sink at it to try to tame her for Saturday. Let's see if we can both give Bill and Steven a little more pressure this Saturday.

Merry Christmas to all from Bill and I on behalf of the So Cal RC Scale Series.

STAY TUNED !
