I'm looking for a good on-road or carpet track that is 1/12 friendly and has plenty of available practice time...seems like these places are very hard to keep open - anyone have any suggestions? I'm new to the area and am looking for someplace I can reach from Long Beach without hours of traffic.

I'm feeling displace with ierc gone. It was only 20 minutes away. I'm trying to find a new home to run at. I've been to coyote in Victorville and it's over an hour away , ocrc to far and I'd have to drive the dreaded 91fwy. Same for lrh 91fwy I'd be 1 hour each way. I live in Corona and need an indoor track clay or carpet closer. Almost thinking tq racing on road track in Chino it's only 10 minutes from me and just run my d413 and rb6 there. Any suggestions or info if new track going to open in inland empire?

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I was thinking of getting my kids a couple Tamiya Mini 4WD kits. My kids are really young so this would be a fun way to start building and racing cars. However, I'm not sure there are really any tracks to race them in my area! I live in Orange County, CA. Anyone know of any tracks to race Mini Tamiyas in SoCal? Thanks for your time!

Backyard Track
Hello all, ive been out of the game a while and technically still am. I just play with stampede for fun but have an e-firestorm i have setup for racing, and use to do 2wd buggy with a b4 as well as onroad with my (still setup actually lol) hara cyclone.
Anyways, some friends that have been into RC a while but never raced wanted to help me build a track in my backyard. I live in Riverside off jurupa ave and van buren, not far from the in n' out off clay. Havent settled on a name for my backyard track yet but im leaning towards "T̶h̶e̶ ̶Y̶a̶r̶d̶" edit: Well that wont work, will have to think of something else.
Anyways, here are some pics. Those of you that know me, Chris Arellano, come say hi sometime! Those of you that don't, lets see what kind of interest this might draw. Im doing a track day this sunday, the 2nd, starting around noon so PM me for details if you'd like to come have a look! Thanks all.
(not sure if i should post this as its own thread or anything, some feedback about that would be nice. Thanks again. Could also use a plate compactor to spruce up the track more if anyone's got a hookup ).

ARC is gone too in Temecula. It has been for about 3 years now. I have created a club "So-Cal Bashers" and we actually raced there a few months ago. Anyone want to join, PM me! We meet every couple of months, we met at the newly built track in the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park a few weekends ago
