There are 2 throw outs for the series race as stated in the website. The bodies are now available at TQ Raceway, Speedtech RC, Roadrunners RC Club in Camarillo and CalRaceway.

Best race at GCR6. 2 FRS ended up top 3 in the A-Main. Calvin Simmons and Paul Dabao running FRS bodies. The bodies are dialed!
Which track is this? I didn't think speedtechrc had a racetrack. Is it Cal raceway?

WHat wheels and tires do you guys think would work the best? Slick vs treaded? 24mm vs 26mm vs 31mm in front and rear?

It's only an hour away. West Coast isn't too far away either... Or Cal.

Cal Raceway is a nice fun track too!

24mm 36R type slick are the fastest by far.

Some like Sorex some like Sweep. 24mm wheels if you can but they will fit on HPI 26mm wheels too. Go for a medium or soft insert to help get more life out of the tires. Buggy grip for traction sauce and you should be good.

Thank you very much. I thought there might be better option with spoke wheels and thicker tires but I guess not. I'll stick with 24mm then. Not sure of those Sweep EXP tires in Cal raceway and Camarillo because EXP didn't seem to work well on asphalt last time I've tried. And from I know, EXPs are not really good option for not-too-high grip track. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It's an hour away on very lucky day my friend lol. West coast RC is 1 hr away from valley on average day.
I will definitely check out Cal raceway though. It looked great on some of the videos I just saw. Didn't even know there was one there lol.
And Tamiya track is not for me anyway cuz I don't have Tamiya cars. I'll just go check out big races being held there from time to time.

An hour? Just be glad you aren't coming from San Diego.

Normally I would agree because I almost always run Sorex but I think the newer Sweep (evo?) have come a long way. Someone driving sweep prototype tires put the hurt on all of us a few times last year in San diego

In the least Sweeps are a cheaper alternative but if you can afford it then Sorex

You can run your S411 at the Tamiya track if your participating on a speedtech event. All chassis are allowEd

Does anyone know if the optional wing set from HPI is allowed to be installed on the frs body? Also, what tire insert combo would you recommend for tq's track? I was think sweep exp with sweep aqua insert.

The HPI Optional Wing set is not allowed for this race, use only the one that came with the body. As for the tires/insert for TQ, Sweep seems to be the tire of choice, you might want to check with Sean at TQ just to make sure.

2 more weeks til the first race, get your cars ready for some fun racing action.
