This looks like a great place to dump the novice stripes and get the 5T dirty!

Quick update on the track... For the time being, the track is only open Sundays from 9-4pm.

Looks like Irvine Lake will become a club format, similar to the successful Road Runners in Camarillo. We're also looking to install a monthly club racing program in early 2013.

I have had this truck for a year and it has less than 15 minutes of run time. Changed the servos out, added the remote kill switch and aftermarket pipe. It is ready to go play. I have been looking for a place big enough to air it out.

Are guys running the stock tires out there?

Man, wait till you get it on a track. Stock tires are good. Try it first then make adjustments. I love mine bone stock, just added a pipe and upgraded servos.

I'm sure you've mowed the lawn before... same thing, only different.

We're going out Saturday to Irvine Lake. Come join us. If the Saturday race doesn't pan out, we're going to Glen Helen instead. They still have the Nats layout up.

The stock tires work every where. And, they last forever.

Is the race Saturday or Sunday and what's the entry fee?

Sorry, Angel. We got rained out on that date. Victor mentioned you might drop by with the buggy. I'll update this thread if there's any other events coming up.

I know Glen Helen will start 1/5th scale club racing every 3rd Sunday of the Month. Can't miss that.
