From my understanding they got rid of the old dirt and got new clay. So clay tires may be the ticket. I would bring a few different choices if I were you. I always ran Suburbs on my mod truck with no issues and Pink Losi BK Bars on my buggy.

ive never raced there but did stop in to watch for a alittle one night and i was really impressed, very laid back vibe and everyone joking with each other on the stand, track is huge as well as the building itself, now with the new clay they made a top notch track even better, Me personally i cant wait to come down and run some stock sc and have a great time.

Just run the recommended settings on the big bore instruction sheet but with 5 limiters in front. Its dialed!

really liking the new clay; less sand, a tad smoother, much better moisture retention.

12 heats and still out at a reasonable time, nice. almost like to see a bit earlier start time (2pm?) with as chilly as it was getting.

What tires are hooking up with the new Clay for SC and SC 4x4? Is everyone using super soft tires still or is the compound of choice the "clay compound"?

Id say in general clay compound is the best.
