Danny,

There was an idea among the members here, what if you guys were to do a "dry run" race on Saturday July 31st using GLARCRC'S equipment. You could get some valuble data on your lot layout(s) and at the same time, see how the 1/5 cars will run at the new location. You could even make it a race day and charge entry fees, this would expedite your efforts to purchase equipment.

The trailer is the driver's stand, and we have P.A. system and AMB. Unfortunately, the timing tower was destroyed by a flying 1/5 car so that's the only thing missing. Hope this helps...let us know and congrats on the new location. How long till you start taking memberships?

Danny Good news for everyone involved. Will you guys have the same problem we have up north with haveing to set up and tear down your track?

Most of us at RAMS dont mind the work involved, but it does get old quick, especialy when people bail early or show up late.

I am not trying to disscourage anyone, but it might be something that might happen.

As soon as you guys get your program up and running I am sure there will be a few of us makeing the road trip down south like we used to

Good luck to all of you, hope to see you soon

Isnt there a easir way to setup the track other than with heavy boards? How about firehouse hose, they have to replace them, so they might give them away for free. I understand that the outside barriers need to be strong for safety. Just an idea.
