I think Jason is ready to race his BAJA. lol
We now have 20+ gallons of methanol in the trailer. Steve has the doo goo and Jimmy said he would bring the castor oil. Sounds like we're set.

Can someone bring a big measuring cup? We need to mix a quart of doo and castor per 5 gallons of methanol..so I think we need a big measuring cup of some kind...or just a quart container of some sort.

Interesting, replace nitro with mountain dew and you get traction lol

Hopefully it works...I got a measuring cup. The Bajas will run on any surface...it's the 5th scale sedans and nitros that I am worried about. I guess we will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Congrats on your podium at the Winternats there Justin. Good job man. Same goes for you Harry..

Maybe someone can help out Eric Vasutin. He posted this on rcracing.com:

I'm having trouble with the transport of the race trailer for next week. Back-up plans have fallen through. Is there anyone out there that can tote the race trailer to SJ, next weekend? The show must go on. (408)316-9884 (408)316-9884 .

I'm busy next weekend or I would help him out. That is a nice trailer too.

Wasn't the plan this year to run 1/5th and 1/8th together? Now we have a 1/10th class also? Sounds like some looooonnnnggggg days of waiting/racing. If we have this many people are there enough to split the days up between 1/5th (including Baja) and 1/8th with 1/10th? Five classes is too many to run in one day on a single track. It is not worth my time or money to spend an entire day at the track if the amount of run time is being cut back this much.

Due to the recent circumstances that have arisen from our latest attempt at finding a traction compound suitable for all classes and the obvious displeasure from those results I am calling a meeting to discuss our further progress.

We will be meeting at the IHOP by the track. This Sunday march 7th at 9am.

All are HIGHLY encouraged to attend...IF for whatever reason you cannot make it then at least contact someone who is going to it and have them ask your questions or have them voice your concerns.

By changing the class racing order may actually improve traction. Hear me out.
1st BAJA, 2nd 1/5th sedan, 3rd Formula, 4th 1/10th nitro, 5th 1/8th nitro. The BAHA class will push dust and foam away and lay some rubber down. Next the sedan and formula class will stick better. Now the nitro cars with foam tires will put slippery foam back on the track that the BAHA cars will clean off on the next round. Hey, it’s worth a try.

That was a good baja race you guys had. Evertime Jason crashed either Bill or Big Baja would have the lead. I think you guys should get a 2speed like Jason cuz his car was just sooooo much faster down the straight away it was rediculous.
