It is a new track. It has not opened yet.

That will ultimately be up to Jimmy. In the mod classes I am not sure he will care. Lipo batteries being approved will still be required but I think he will allow sensorless motors in mod. The spec classes will require ROAR approved motors for sure though.

I am excited about the lineup of tracks. The Bakersfield we kept had that tar surface. That was cool. Please do that again. Revelation in 08 was fun. Have some bow ties around people. Life isn't all switches. This year we focus more on the dialed tracks, it seems. As long as the power is on Camarillo was more hooked up in 08 than in prev 2 years, it grooved up. The disaster Bakersfield track is no longer with us we can all put that behind us.

There is Camping near Hotrod. My Fing last post got timed out stupid computer. Castaic Lake is a few exits north of Hot Rod on the 5. 5N exit Lake hughes east. 1/2 up big hill L into driveway. 661-257-4050 805 257-4050

Castaic lake is the closest camping to Hot Rod. The Cops close the gate at 10. A little limited but for $10/night it was my home for the nationals. I had the front most space. Avoid that. When the cops close up, the y hang out. As the from most space they were basicly hanging out at my camp site. So I call it Cop Lake. I wrote a song about it. Here is a sample.....

The Cops yell back, Yeah punk this Cop Laaaaaeeeeke......
