again... why do you INSIST on running on a parking lot... when there is at least 3-4 off road tracks for every parking lot program out there? i just dont get it.

[sarcasm] hey look..i live in colorado.. but i'll go to DUBAI to go skiing! [/sarcasm]

What part of "I had a great time racing an SC8 in a parking lot" sounds like I "INSIST" on having a truck class at an onroad track

I live in San Diego where there is only one off-road track (not 3-4), that doesn't race tenth scale, and two on-road tracks, kind of. So if you wanna race a slash, but dont wanna drive an hour and 45 to do it, you do what you have to. There just so happens to be about 12 other guys in the same situation so we set our cars and jumps down and have a good time (club racing).

It wasnt my intention to INSIST, convince or even request that they run slashes in parking lot 100 feet away from a great offroad track - youre right that would be dumb. All I was trying to say is that a slash in parking lot (or an sc8) with jumps is a pretty good time. Even funner is a b44. Ray Ramirez has brought his out and smoked my s400 a few times (tells you how good I am at driving) at discount and said it was as much fun as he has had racing in a while.

just my .02 - nothing more

Nice!

Do you know when you will have it open for practice again? I am building a car right now and won't have it ready for a couple weeks.

I plan on setting up the on-road track this Thursday around 11AM
(If its not raining) and tear it down around 6Pm

All are welcome to come and drive and pit inside at NO Charge
Kevin and I want to get as much feedback as we can so our first race day
will go off well!

The transponder system has been ordered and the timing bridge is being built

Just a few more weeks

Robert- Is the surface being 'prepped' in any way (ie, sugar water, etc)?
