Is that with timing on the speed control? I've been told that once you engage timing advance you should gear down. What should i be gearing at with timing? Anyone with a MMP, how much should I boost?

Thanks.

I'm running a LRP Stock Spec and a boost setting of 7 of 10. And that's with the 31/72 gearing on my B4. I just went to 7 last Sunday and I temp it after the Main and it was less then 110 degress.

that mini track is looking pretty good.

what is your "refresh rate" on that track? will it get rebuilt as often as the big track?

MMP I think I run it at 40-45 degrees
start RPM 4500
end rpm 12000(it only lets you pick certain numbers cant remember what its set at but those numbers are close)
start power sometimes medium sometimes high, depends on grip.
that should get you started, at OCRC ill run 20,21, or 22 sometimes 74 spur sometimes the bigger one. temp runs 140-160 depending on how long Im out there running.
Start with less gear 20, even 19 at like 35 degrees on the cheat just to check temps add gear or timing if its cool. I like running less gear it helps me because of all the mistakes I make per lap, and I like RPM's
that should get you in the ballpark. Ill add gear also during the qualifiers if I feel like I dont have enough top end on the straight. Thats with a 17.5 duo2 motor timing on 0.

wow...much higher than I though. Gearing much lower than I thought too...

I have 25 degrees with the 8000~9500 setting, 6.75 FDR, Novak SS Pro 17.5

So your running 40~45 degrees with a FDR of 9.62

I would love to know how many R's your motor is turning VS mine.

I love RPMs and timing. maybe I should change it up a little but thats just about the way Ive ran it since I got it. Its close to what I run at Hot Rods, WCRC and OCRC. It definetly pulls off the corners.

Totally forgot I have a Mini Slash 4x4. I think this thing on 2s or 3s Lipo should be fun on that track! I'll bring it out there on Saturday to check it out.

Default Customer Service needs to improve...

Situtation:

Have anybody ever wanted to go the track and test the car for a few laps?

I was thinking about taking my son there tonight to race our cars (SC10 & B4). I prepared my B4 at home and went to OC/RC to possibly test my car. I only brought my car and radio, thats it. I wanted to see if the owner would let me test my car for a few laps.

I arrived at the track at 11:30am and there were about 5 drivers already there. After about 5 minutes watching the other drivers practice, I noticed the owner behind the counter. So I walked over to him and asked, "Do you think it would be okay if I ran few laps, I only bought my car and radio and wanted to test it." His reponse was, "No..." I do understand that this is his livelihood, but he could have been a little more understanding. It's just the way he said. "No" in a condescending tone. I didn't even bother to say anything back, I just walked straight out. He just lost 2 potential customers.

See you at WCR...

Did you go straight to McDonalds and ask them if you could just test a Hamburger?
