I am curious if anyone has sent him a link to this thread though....? Like a "red flag, DB alert".

I would say I'm sorry, but that would be a lie. I think the guy is a D bag, never leaves feedback and issues refunds without any communication. That's a D bag IMO. People should know how he operates.

Just came across this, I personally know Dom as we race at a local hobby shop together. One of the nicest guys u will meet! He will help anyone out in a minute. I'm sure it was a mixup. I'm sure the $500 deal was a smoking deal as he seeks everything for cheap just to get rid of stuff. I've been a member on here for a while now and can vouch for him any day.

He didn't lock anything up, he refunded the funds right away. The fact that PayPal held the money not his fault. He has 2 of these buggies hence why one has to go. If I'm not mistaken didn't the deal not happen bc u didn't want to pay for shipping?

screw this guy domracer....all he ever does is sell his stuff well below cost. why should the racing public save money?

yes, the cars are usually brand new, and very well assembled and top level competition cars..but who are we to accept quality stuff at a reasonable price if someone didnt get his refund back within nano seconds...

secondly, guys like domracer really are crooks in the eyes of hobbyshops and online retailers as he has sold many vehicles way too cheap....

if the moderator was smart, he would ban domracer from rctech forever...
why should anyone buy stuff from him to enhance their love of this hobby. Make them all pay full retail for used stuff....

We'll never know the shipping question, because the WHOLE ADD WAS DELETED. Why do people do that? I would leave it as testimony to what I sold and any conditions on shipping.

speedychris , maybe you and dom should be in the same room together while you type your replies, perhaps with some notes printed up so you can keep this straight. dom sent me a paypal invoice (his one and only communication with me still to this day) ,i immediately paid the paypal invoice, how can there be any shipping price dispute?
as for the money being held for days, it was doms course of actions that led to that, not paypals nor mine.
how does smoking deal even play into this? how about average deal, or even bad deal? regardless the facts are the same, 0 communication from dom , $500 lost to me for days, 0 reasons why.

Believe me it's not that serious, I'm just giving some input as I know Dom. How u process the info is totally up to u. Regardless this doesn't effect me one bit. Have a good day. Hopefully u will find another deal on the car.

Bottom line is, this is a case of seller remorse, period. Maybe the shipping was more than he planned on? Maybe he opted to take the money locally? From a buddy? Whatever the reason, his buddies won't say, not letting the buyer know why and and what is going on, is the reason I added him to the no deal list. If he can't man up on something like this, I won't deal with him. Beating on the buyer for bringing this out is BS as well.
