Watch dealing with this guy, he claims to have been into r/c since 86, but recently joined the forum. He responded to my WTB for a tire truer, and sent one pic of the item. Due to me being at work at the time, and it being a good deal, and not wanting to miss out, I went ahead and trusted him and sent payment. I went several days without hearing from, and finally began to enquire about if he shipped the item. He kept giving me excuses, and finally issued me a refund after numerous emails. He has no post on the boards, and contacts buyers by email or pm. He will contact you and offer a smoking deal! Buyers beware!

Same thing happened to me. He told me his id on rctech was rcdad2001.
I wanted to buy an entry level RTR crawler for under $200. He sent me an email stating he had an Axial 10 with 2 lipos and a DX2 radio for $175 shipped. He sent me pics but with a DX3R radio. I asked him if the DX3R was the correct radio and he said yes. It sounded too good to be true so I asked him to take an up to date picture of the whole package. Included in the picture I wanted him to write the date(12/3/11) and the name Elliot written on a piece of paper. Never hear from him again.
I do have all his emails and pictures saved.
