RCivy, beat me to the post. I know this guy still has some things listed in the for sale/trade section. I am not telling anyone not to buy from him, but I would not. I bought the mugen buggy he had listed and sent him money via paypal on 11-18-11. He responded via pm that he would probably ship Monday (11-21-11) via USPS. I have sent him numerous pm's and e-mails and I have not gotten a response. I have no idea if he shipped or not, he doesn't answer. I opened a claim with paypal yesterday and still nothing from him. According to this site, he was on RCTECH on the morning of 11-25-11. If he did indeed ship, which I seriously doubt, he will not have a good feedback score after I post to his itrader rating. What is the RCTECH communities opinion concerning when to post on someones trader rating? Do I wait and see what the resolution is, or do I give him negative feedback because it has been approximately 11 days with no response? Should I wait a few more days with Paypal or notch up our dispute to a claim now? Also, what are the odds of me getting my money back?

I had a guy tell me he was shipping something I bought from him. He kept telling me it was shipped, no tracking, he kept saying maybe post office messed up I waited 4 weeks as he suddenly disappered on here. After 4 weeks (just to give him benfit in case post office issue) I posted negative feedback and the next day the guy started pm and freaking out cause I gave him neg feedback and never received anything.

Rcivy, as far as the law goes, if you need anything from me, let me know. He took me for 230.00. If you haven't already, I would escalate your paypal dispute to a claim. I called Paypal today and that is what they told me to do. Most people on here are very good to trade with, but every now and then you will find a bad egg. Have you left negative feedback for him yet? I have not, I am trying to see what happens with paypal before I do that.

I think appropriate negative feedback is do here. Both of you are having the same problem with communication. I believe the feedback system is to show you how well he/she buys, sells, and trades on rctech. It's not for whether you get your money back from PayPal or not. More than likely you will get your money back from PayPal. But that does not mean you shouldn't leave negative feedback. Post the feedback appropriately. That's how I feel about it...

I paid him on the 20th for his amb transponder. He said he shipped it that Monday. I did a paypal claim on the 27th. Today is the 29th and paypal is still awaiting a response from Richard Smith. I believe at this point i got scammed. I do have his cell number and address and i have called and sent text but have not gotten a hold of him. I hope that everyone who got involved with him gets there money back.
