Need some advice
on October 17th I put up a post about looking to purchase an SC6. I got a few PMs about trucks for sale. I made a deal with one user here. I am new to this and made the mistake of paying paypal with the friends option. I didn't know any better. Its been nearly 3 weeks and I haven't received the SC6 yet. Seller says he went to the post office they say it was delivered about the 20-21 of October. However he says he lost the tracking number so I can't verify for myself. The way I see it either the item was stolen from my porch or it was never delivered at all. I am trying to rule out the 2nd option but at this point I am upset and want answers already.
What is a reasonable amount of time I can give him to locate the tracking number before I make post about a bad transaction here?

I would still contact PayPal and see if there's anything you can do. I think you will be calling this an expensive lesson though. 3 weeks gone by and he lost tracking ? That really doesn't sound good. Call him out and post his user name. And pm him a link to this thread. It's HIS responsibility to make sure you get what you paid for period. If it disappeared during transit I hope he insured it because it's on the seller not the buyer. If he lost the tracking how can he say they said the 20th or 21st ?

The package was shipped the wife misplaced a bunch of papers I'm doing everything I know to do but here's what I will do I will call paypal my self I will eat it is guess I don't know what else to do if I can't find the receipt
