Air is no longer free!!! It's included in the total selling price. Stop at any gas station and it costs at least a buck for a minutes worth of air.

On the surface I want to say you're wrong, because I can pull up to just about any Kwik Trip and get "free air". BUT you're 100% correct, because the cost of that "free" air is passed down to EVERYONE by way of increased costs of every other item they sell. NOTHING is "free" ever!

Nope sorry I have my own wifi thanks and please keep in mind the seller is the one charge a fee when selling something and gets away if he ask to be paid as a gift, I have never sold anything as a gift.

Very true Kwik Trip may not charge for the air and will make up for that cost through something else or passed down as you say and that is what I am saying that paypal dont charge when sent as a "gift" but they pass that down that cost in other services.

You're knowingly helping the seller rip off PayPal. So because it's not YOU who's ripping them off it's ok then.

I defiantly don't feel bad for people who pay as a gift, then something goes sour on a deal.

Again paypal is not getting ripped off, they have meetings once a week and if they were losing money or getting ripped off someone from TOP management would of put a stop to sending payment as a gift a long time ago.

You're kidding right? PayPal KNOWS guys like you are ripping them off by paying for "goods/services" via gift payments. They simply pass the cost on to the rest of us. It's no different than the increased cost of goods because of retail theft. Is the amount of money they're losing miniscule compared to their total revenue, it most likely is. BUT that has nothing to do with my original question, which is "You feel it's ok to rip off PayPal?" It seems you do but keep trying to justify it!

Not trying to justify anything at all and I personal haven't rip off paypay at all they had made money off all my sales so please stop assuming. I find it hard that you can comprehend that a gas station can have free air and pick up the cost elsewhere or its a cost in there overhead and you dont see that as they are getting ripped off

That's a known cost of business for them. Knowingly paying as a gift (no fees) is simple theft. You AND your seller are knowingly choosing the "gift" option to avoid the seller paying PayPals seller fees. This isn't he same as a "known cost of doing business".

You AND the seller are BOTH taking part in a known THEFT by agreeing to pay via "gift" for a purchased goods/service. It's the simple! Hope you have a good day at church on Sunday

I'm not sure it's "personal" but I do find it ironic that a person of faith (based on their signature) is condoning theft.

Buyer and/or seller agreeing to a transaction for "goods/services" (aka a purchase on this site) paid via "gift payment" is theft from PayPal. End of story! What is there to argue??
