Default BEWARE of Boostgod not a Honest seller.

BEWARE of Boostgod. I am not sure what trader rating to leave for this member since he shipped the car but was not honest. This member listed the car as a BUILT BUT NEVER RUN, well the car is still in good condition but it has been run in carpet for a while. It shows wear on the CF chassis where the battery is mounted and has carpet build up at the belt gears, carpet on the belts. He didn't include the wheels offered neither (No big deal but no honest again). Looking closely at his feedback he only has one positive as seller, all other ratings are as a buyer.
I wouldn't buy anything else from this member again, and I would advise anyone to stay away. I have PM'd him several times since I received the car asking for an explanation but no answer has been received.
What trader rating do I should leave. Positive because he shipped the car, Neutral or Negative for no being honest?

Thanks for your input.

If you tried to work it out after receiving it (which you did) I'd leave a neutral and short explanation of the deal.

I read the ad. He blatantly lied from what I see. Positive feedback isn't just about quik shipping. It wasn't as described and he kept stuff. ....

Negative, he lied what other recourse do you have at this point if he isn't going to respond?

Honestly I would leave negative... It was used ..Not as described and missing parts that were supposed to be included.. That's 2 negatives in my book...

Thanks you all for your responses. I will send this link to the seller and see if he at least can respond here.

It's not acceptable unless you agreed, but he probably raced a few times waiting for a sale and didn't mention it.

I bought a chassis off of HT that was "new" (and looked it) and then the guy said he needed to wait 'til the next week to ship, so I said ok. It arrived really-nice-used, not beat up, and he tossed in a couple nicer spec level batteries to make up ahead of time so I let it go.

It was still a very good deal for me, but if I continued to trade with him, I'd make sure everything's out on the table, so to speak, before moving forward because he deals in the un-said.

I've gotten to where I ask at the last moment if it's been run any since the pics were taken. It's a good habit for me and an easy reminder for the busier traders. I had a neat convo with one guy and inferred that he was basically living 2 or 3 lives packed into one and wasn't bothered by any wrap-it-up questions.

I agree that your seller needs to make it up to you.

Thumbs down

The car is used but still in good shape. I wouldn't paid what I paid for a used car though. The seller quit responding my PMs after the car was shipped.
I have been waiting for an answer before I leave a feedback... but no success till now. I guess he doesn't have anything to say since he knows he wasn't honest. Very bad..

Advertised as "never run"... but ships a used car? That's completely dishonest, and stole the value difference between a mint car, and a used car... which in the RC world, is substantial.

Well, today after more than a month of the transaction and after several PMs, this guy finally appear and give me a negative feedback, still without giving and explanation of anything. This guy is an assault. How can I get out of a negative feedback given for this kind of person? Do I need to contact a Moderator?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
