Yes, but when a refund is given in form of an echeck, it leaves the person getting the refund with no leg to stand on. I didnt pay in an echeck, I paid with Paypal funds, but he gave me my refund as an echeck. Sadly, I had no control over the situation.

This is very sad. It takes ALOT of effort to establish and maintain a good rating on here. Not just to get the sale but also prompt shipping along with tracking info and follow up after the sale. It's also odd that he has not said anything on here. We will see I guess.

I'm still confused over this. I've bought stuff from him and it was probably my best experience of any sales on here. He even followed up with me a bit later to see if i had any questions. I hope this is some odd fluke explainable situation.

I highly doubt that. It's way too easy to contact someone you know and have them explain your account was hacked etc. He could log in with a new name and explain what happened too. We can check his IP address to verify it is him. Like I said, it's way too easy to come on here and explain what is truly going on.

I thought that might be the case also. But ruled it out for the same reasons that have already been posted. But now that I think of it from a fraud point of view, the business name on the PayPal account was a little odd and it does not have his personal name listed at all. If someone that has had a good transaction with mattp wants to private message me who they sent their payment to I will verify it's the same person.
