Bottom line is it's up to the purchaser to resolve any queries they have before handing over the $, be that asking for better pictures or clarification of what shape an item is in. The downside is you risk losing the item if someone is willing to take it as is and pay immediately. If the seller has made no specific assertions as to the item's condition which end up being misleading then you have no real leg to stand on. A general "nah it's all good brah" isn't enough for that but the language should raise red flags immediately.

If the seller is willing to offer you a refund, then all well and good, personally I don't really believe you are entitled to one. When buying second hand the general rule is "Let the buyer beware"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caveat_emptor

But that said, if someone calls me brah, I'd walk away too!

That's 40 bucks worth of lie minimum. Plus it was missing other things he promised. No telemetry installed (not much but like the wheels I asked about that to and he lied). Lots of other things missing (bearings). I just focused on the wheels because it's such a blatant wtf thing. Easier and cheaper for me to have him eat his lies then to eat them myself.

1. Did you SPECIFICALLY ask them about the tyres and Telemetry gear or did you make assumptions?
2. I notice you have not left them feedback, any reason?
3. One of your feedbacks left referred to someone as a "Cool Cat" Was this a Tabby cat by chance?

I wouldn't leave feedback until I was done with the deal. And if he is trying to get a refund there is no reason what so ever to leave feedback until he is satisfied with the outcome. I'd be asking for a refund too if it was missing a bunch of things, and that sounds to be the case.

1. Yes about both.
2. Never until all is resolved and it didn't take place on this board but another. Cane here to ask about it for impartiality.

Ok well if the deal didn't happen on here, then feedback isn't appropriate so clarified that.

Personally I'd call it lesson learnt and seek better pictures in future, the amount of angst you put yourself through over $40 in tyres and bearings, is it really worth it?

If they did try and pull a swifty on you, well, karma and all that will sort it out in the end and what they gain will not be as much as what they pay

Why did you post this here? This is a trader feedback forum for transactions that take place here.
