Exclamation Read This...might be helpful

Hey I was reading this forum about this guy and just wanted to tell ya....... I had gotten screwed online thru ebay for $200.00 from someone. When I had contacted Ebay and Paypal they gave me the same crap of "We are sorry theres not much we can do case closed" and that I wasn't gonna get any money back. Well I had paid with a credit card and went to the credit card company with my problem and they were awsome. They gave me my money back and said they were gonna investigate it. If any of you paid with a credit card get on the phone to your card because most credit cards have some type of online purchase protection. After I put a stop payment on this Paypal sent me a letter all pissed at me saying that I shouldn't have done that because they were gonna maybe get me back some of my money. Like 20% or 30% back, screw that, I want "all" my money back. I didn't do anything wrong and you guys didn't either, so if ya paid with a credit card call them up. It sucks when some scum has to pull something like this and steal your money. This is just my 2 cents but I hope it helps and all works out for everyone.

Thanks Sluggo --

From now on, only credit card payments from me (can't WAIT for Google's online payment system, I'm tired of PayPal. They are great for sellers, suck for buyers).

However, on this one, I used a PayPal balance (he had excellent PayPal numbers). I'm in it for the amount. Plus, since he's screwed upwards of 7 of us, he really should pay, maybe even with jail time. It's theft, anyway you look at it.

Default Ron Anderson Tech purchase

I purchased a RC12L4 from Andersonon 06/26/2005 for $140.00,using PayPal to make payment.I filed a claim with PayPal on 06/29/2005 for non-receipt of goods against Anderson. On 07/09/2005 PayPal decided in my favor, but he had a $0.00 balance. On 07/26,I can file a charge back with my credit card company to recover the amount charged to my account. You must wait 30 days to file a charge back for non-receipt of purchased goods from a seller.

I agree, way too quick. However, maybe he made the purchase, only to find this thread too late. Realizing he was likely being screwed over, he quickly filed. Did you see how fast the guy withdrew the money from the account? Zero balance.

not likely since this thread was started on the 7th of this month and his claim was on the 29th of last month. but that really doesnt matter.

I filed a claim in three days because after reviewing Anderson's threads on this forum,I found other buyers having problems with getting their purchases from him before this latest round of Anderson deals.A matter of fact, if I would have been alert and checked these threads before sending him money,I would not be out $140.00.Three days was too long when dealing with a scam.

Losi Jon has been trying to help us out, unfortunately, he's had as much luck as we have. No new number, no new address. Even the ex-girlfriend doesn't know.
