Check out this post for more info on the ordeal. Basically he has a duplicate account that he uses to leave positive feedback for himself. This duplicate account has poor feedback from other buyers.

He now left me negative feedback since I "irrationally" left him negative feedback. He did reverse the transaction atleast but that's likely only due to paypal holding the money. he wanted his money right now and wanted me to use fraud prone googlecheckout instead of the reliable and well known paypal. I just didn't want anyone screwed over like those that purchased from his original account "thegreatgeekyme" Can the moderators please remove the negative rating that he just placed over a month after the ordeal. I am an honest seller and buyer as can be seen by my ebay account and my account here.

Thanks I reported the feedback. I'm guessing that will be enough.

Does anyone think I'm over reacting. Obviously this guy is dishonest and trying to deceive us.

The mods can remove the positive feedback he left for me. I really don't care about that. I just want my negative feedback removed and would like to alert the rest of RCTECH of this sketchy activity.

No, you are not overreacting. People like this need to be permanently banned from forums to protect the rest of us from falling into this trap. The public must be notified to prevent others from making a mistake. Let us hope that people will be able to use their common sense to prevent themselves from being scammed.

Thank you so much this is much appreciated. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this.

The main reason I joined this site was the for sale section. I'm more active over on URC posting wise. But I'm very happy with the prompt reactions by the moderators here.

Just an FYI, we don't ban because we "think" that a user needs be banned. We ban when we have proof.
