Dear all PEMKAR members,
I m posting this on behalf of the President and as a PEMKAR committee.
There has been an on going confusions and questions between some of the members regarding the extra $5 charged during payment on the race day for the National Day race dated 27th February 2011 held at the Stadium Track.
It was actually for the LATE PAYMENT RACE FEE CHARGES. Though it was not mentioned earlier on the initial post, but it was mentioned about the last date of payment was on the 26th February 2011. The notice or penalty charge info should have been there posted together, however due to human error (missed by the poster) it was not there. This is very much regretted by PEMKAR.
The aim to introduced this late payment charges implemented by PEMKAR is actually with good cause in mind.
First, we want to make all the members realised that paying your race entry fee early is important. Over the years (race days) there has always been announcements made to pay the entrance fee (by loud hailer,usually
) nevertheless some of the members/racers were reluctant to acknowledge and some to the extent of seeking opportunity by mistake to get away without paying at all.
Paying your race fee early also will also make the race operator's job easier. If you pay early that means you are confirm to join the race. The race operator then prepare your name with your details transponder etc, into his computer before the race day. This in return will make his job as smooth and will also cut the time to start the race drastically (this is one of the reason why we usually have delay start for our race).
The National Day race was the 1st race PEMKAR implemented this and PEMKAR admitted that there was a hiccup in announcing the Late Charges info to its members. Due to this matter, PEMKAR has made a decision to be fair to all its members.
-The extra $5 charged to those members/racers will be return back by means of deducting it ($5) from his next race fee ( races organised by PEMKAR), Providing those members/racers pay the race fee before the closing date (usually 1 day before race day). ie: Those charged members/racers who will join this upcoming PEMKAR series will pay $5 less from the intended full fee IF they pay the rest in time.
In this opportunity also PEMKAR would like to OFFICIALLY announce that from now on (for all PEMKAR organised RACES), there will be LATE FEE PAYMENT CHARGES charged to those LOCAL members/racers if they fail to pay it before the closing date.
PEMKAR will also nominate one or two of its member to be a fee collectors for those who live far from Bandar. These guys will be announce on any PEMKAR's organise race thread in the future.
Thank you very much for your time in reading and understanding this. Any comments, feedback, complaints, suggestions or clarification needed you can PM me or meet us at the stadium track. We are there everyday between 4-6pm. Pls do not post anything sensitive here. Do meet us, we CAN and WILL listen to you guys. Together we CAN find solution BETTER.

I think the GP race latest date is on the 20th march (as per the 2011 race diary thread)....Having said that, looking at the last post in the GP endurance race thread, if the entry is less than 12 teams than the race would be cancel. At the moment there's only 2 teams registering there with unconfirm status so that makes it Zero entry.
