England Park Raceway Grand Re-opening Meeting
QRCCRA is proud to announce the Gala Re-opening meeting of England Park Raceway on Saturday 11th February.
The GOLDEN RULE for this meeting is that it will be a purely fun and social event.
Classes to be run are as follows :-
Stock Electric Tourers
Modified Electric Tourers
Gas Tourers (under 1 hp)
Pro Tourers
1/8th Scale
1/5th Scale
Race Format will be :-
All classes 3 by 5 minute qualifiers.
Electric 3 by 5 minute A finals (other finals 5 minute)
Gas 15 minute A finals (other finals 5 minute)
Proposed timetable :-
Nominations close at 9:00am
Drivers meeting 9:15am
First race at 9:45am
Finish when we finish.
Entry Fee is $15 for 1 class and $5 for each additional class.
(Entry fee includes 1 Hamburger and 1 drink at the BBQ dinner)
Prizes will be awarded for 1st 2nd 3rd in each class.
(Tyres are open for all classes and no tyre treatment of any sort is allowed)
No practice will be permitted for any class prior to the start of qualifying. (Refer to the GOLDEN RULE above)
Grip is unknown and wear is unknown but it will be the same for everyone. (Refer to the GOLDEN RULE)
We will be raffling off the right for six people to have the honour of being the first people to post some laps on the new track. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5.
Preferred method of nomination is by email.
Please email your name, class, frequency and transponder number to [email protected] Payment can be made on the day.
Nominations will be accepted on the day but we prefer people nominate by email to assist us ascertaining the numbers we can expect for this meeting.

Looking forward to it..... I love the idea of no practise, I never get time to prac. anyway Should be a long day, plenty of time between heats to panic about setup (help me tones )

Hi Everyone,
Remember if you can't get there until later in the day that will be OK too. Just flick John an email and we will slot you in when you get there. We would like to see as many there as possible to help us celebrate the re-opening.

I have just realized that I will be in Brisbane this weekend and I have Saturday completely free. Anyone mind some interstate competition?

Track is located at the Corner of Leitch's Rd and Strathwyn Street, Brendale.

Thanks for the offer Greame but Mods to fast for me, with a new track layout with no practice I don't have enough parts to keep the TC4 going for 6 races.
I haven't got an entry from you yet are you running 1/8 scale as well as Mod.
Drivers please if you can let me know if your coming we need to know how many hamburgers and drinks to catter for, email [email protected] or ring on 07 32645997.
Micheal you got to come the meeting won't be the same without you.
Also I've had a few drivers ring me to confirm they entries which they e-mailed
unfortuneately Trevor got my e-mail address wrong and I didn't get them so please resend or ring me if you think this may affect you.
