Looking forward to this weekend, should be a blast. I was just wondering if we should bring a table or do you think there will be enough to go around?

Some Invitational Statistics....
From conversation/memory:

4 drivers ran a one-way or double one-way, the remainder ran spools...
3 ran brushless, the rest brushed...
2 ran Corally's, 2 ran Losi's, 2 ran Shumacher's, 1 ran a HPI, and 1 a borrowed Tamiya ...
Best handling were Anthony Atack's Tamiya, and Andy Cooks Corally...
Fastest lap (I think) was Andy Cook...
Best Race time was (I think ) Anthony Atack...
The difference between the Best Fastest Lap to the Best Slowest Lap was 0.3 second (I think)...
The difference between the Best Race Time and the Best Slowest Time was 7 seconds (I think)...
The person to did the least motor maintenance: Scott Guyatt...
The worst Tyre Gluer: Keith Mackrill...

Someone from the club can confirm/correct these if I'm wrong... just from memory that's all.

I don't think it was that much - I think the spread from fastest best lap to slowest best lap was only just over 0.1 secs. In terms of ability to pump out a lap time it was incredibly close right through the field that's for sure.

BTW, Primmer was similarly lazy with motor maintenance. JP at least oiled the bearings in his brushless....

Congrats to Anthony - consistently fast and almost impossible to chase down. Well done and well deserved.

Hi Guys

Thank you for those entered the event, without you being there, there would be no event! So big thanks

Secondly, big thanks to Big Mac and the Club, the track preparation is just prefect. So Big thanks!!!

After the weekend there is talk of having another one in the second half of the year, so for those who missed out, don't be this time.

Initial ideas is 2 days event, with 540 and 19 Turn day one, and Stock and Mod Day 2. With B.Y.O. 36R tyres only, (so can have your own insert and rim).

So stay tune, this thread will active again soon!!!!!

Once again, thanks you for those who made it an successful event.

Best regards

Leo

Sooo Leo ... now the track is in such pristine condition with buckets of grip... would be a shame to let "Drift Cars" back on there and ruin it all.....
