hi it is bruce from the gold coast and a group of us were planning on coming up on the sat the 5th for a practice is the track going to be open or is everyone away for holidays? please pm and i will call you to arrang something if we can get a drive in as we want to practice befor the states. thankyou

i'm sure there will be a few of us at the track on the 5th as long as its dry, and its still there. Still a possibility of a cyclone developing just off the coast this week....
We'll have a better idea off the track situation by next wed i'd say.

Also bear in mind the track will undergo lots of changes before the states, with all the rain we've had up here its been "washed down" a fair bit and is way to easy atm.
There will be more/bigger jumps added and hopefully a track extension to give a better variety of corners. Like its not big enough already...

With the height of the drivers stand, you could extend the track into the skate park and still be able to see it.

G'day sunnie coast racers, hope you all had a great new years!
Although it was probably puoring day and night like it was here on the gold coast, finally stopped today.
How did the track handle the rain?? Would it be worth while for a group of us to make the trip up for a run on your awesome looking track this weekend??

I'm afraid not guys, its soaked..

We've had a heap of rain over the last 4 days and they're predicting heavier to come. I'd imagine we'd need at least 4 days drying time if it stopped raining now, but I'll keep an eye on it.

No worries I figures that was the case. Doesn't bloddy rain when I'm working but soon as holidays come along it absolutely pours.....OH WELL!

I have just moved to QLD a couple months back living in Caloundra.
I am looking to start racing up here, 4wd mod & 2wd Truck (both Electric)

Some details about the club would be great, i.e where is the track located, race meets etc... would be really helpfull or even a website to check out if you have one

Thanks mate - I checked it out not far from my joint which is great !!

Do many guys run electric there, it seems from what i could see Nitro is more
prominent there

Either was will be down there to check it out as soon as the track & weather drie up

Yes we do run electric...........

Generally it is only one class........... all in together

As you may have noticed on our website we start our 2008 race season on the 20th Jan
