Default Ebay SCORE.. or robbed!

Hey all..

Was just surfing ebay and bought this for $61 shipped to my door.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-rc-ca...vip=true&rt=nc

Brand new with plastic still on the wrapper

$61!!

First I thought.. Stolen.. then thought he could be a first time seller that has just wasted his money.
The timing of the auction would have been late evening or early morning for the USA.

Me, being in Australia, saw it just before lunch time.

Then decided, worst case I lose $61

I cant even get postage for that figure??
Another exact same sale asked for $450 for the truck and $550 to ship it to Australia.

Well I will just sit and wait.. LOL

interesting the link doesn't work..

But he is still on ebay.. selling heaps of rc boats and cars..

The initial purchase was a AE MGT 8.0 RTR for $61 AU

I bought a brushless boat for $85 AU today also... Trailblazer Select
although I was bidding on a 3rd and it said I was only allowed 2 purchases within 10 days from this seller... otherwise I would have picked up a brushed eRevo for $120 AU

Something is amiss here, I think robbed will be the most likely conclusion.

This just turned up on my sales.. his account has been closed on eBay.

We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Centre to help resolve any problems you may encounter.

Resolution Centre looks like its gonna happen.. wait a bit longer and see

He will have probably cleaned out his Paypal account and the bank account attached to it, so they can't refund you anything.
As always, if it seems too good to be true then it is.

Stangas, did you end up receiving your product?

True. Better be safe than sorry. Paypal are pretty good with stuff like that.

You should always check the feedback and sales history - All bar one of his feedbacks were from a randomly generated usernames who have been removed by eBay.

Another warning sign is that all of his "purchases" from these "people", were for $0.10 or $0.20 - and all of those people were the same with each other.

Lucky you had paypal to resolve it !
